On Saturday, she sent an emoji-filled text message to Lamar which has everything -- excitement, pride, humour, and, above all, an endless flow of mother-to-son love. And the emojis are a perfect commentary to the text. Just read it:

It is not the first time that Lamar, who proudly posted his mum's text on Twitter to the euphoria of his hardcore fans, has showed off Paula Oliver's brilliance.
In his debut album, Good Kid mA.A.d City, the artist got his mum and dad on an interlude or two. And it was just hilariously sweet.
“.... And I love you Kendrick, if I don’t hear you knocking on the door you know where I usually leave the key. Alright? Talk to you later, bye," Oliver says in the last bit.
