Of course, a Tay #1 and a "Despacito" #1 aren't the only two options here. As Billboard points out, "Wild Thoughts," this summer's other ubiquitous anthem, has a shot at the top spot. (It's currently at #2.) So does Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow."
There's also the possibility that Taylor's new single is bad, thereby hurting its chances on the charts. But "Shake it Off" hit #1 back in 2014, so who really knows?
