SEE ALSO: Nintendo Switch 2 leaks: Release date, games, price, and moreCompared to the original PlayStation 5, value-wise you may find it worth it to opt for the disc drive model, considering Sony upped the list price on the digital model by $50 for the slim edition. Still, disc drive or not, you're getting much of the same top-notch performance from the original console in a slightly smaller package, according to our sister site PCMag's review. (And we were big fans of the original console). You'll also be getting 1TB of built-in storage space with the PS5 Slim, up from the 825GB some PS5 models have.
If you're not feeling quite sold on the PS5 Slim, you might find it worth it to wait for the PS5 Pro announcement.
