Friends,The Intern - A Summer of Lust we've got a new kind of digital fun for you to enjoy. It's called Mashable Reels.
Each one tells a complete story with vertical video—a perfect match for the mobile web. Reels deliver daily, compact, substantial multimedia-infused packages, with deep narratives that rise above the whiplash-inducing pace of your normal news feeds.
Reels are intuitive, and what we consider to be the best way to watch vertical video on the mobile web. You'll see them right at the top of Mashable every day, but they'll also be distributed through our social media channels if you fancy following us there. They'll also work in anyweb browser (mobile or desktop). In other words, there's nothing to download, or update—Mashable Reels aren't an app. You're already good to go.
In every Reel, you're going to find engaging, focused, original videos that don't take long to consume—the perfect fit for our LTE world.
You'll enter a Reel via a regular ol' link. On mobile, you'll swipe into the first frame, and then, move through the Reel by tapping your finger on the screen:
Tap the right side of your screen to move forward through the reel, or the left side of your screen to go backwards.
The desktop experience? Just as smooth. Enter the Reel, and you'll see a sequence of frames. Simply use your mouse to click forward (or backward, if you want to revisit anything) and you're on your way:
We at Mashablebelieve the future's in your hands—literally. Our mobile devices offer a portal to limitless information, and Mashable Reels is the next evolution in storytelling for a connected generation. We're diving in, we're psyched, and we know you're gonna love it.
