The Farabi (2020) Feneo Original Web Seriesinternet can be bad — think scams, misinformation, and abuse. The internet can be good — think folks rallying support for a local business or finding their life partner. But sometimes the internet can also be downright silly.

That's the case with the latest trending discussion on X. People are fighting over whether 100 people could beat up a gorilla. It's reminiscent of a different, more pure time online — the era of Buzzfeed lists and Weird Twitter — where people would frequently argue over dumb, silly hypotheticals. In fact, outlandish "who would win" arguments are kind of a staple of the internet.

The gorilla versus 100 people argument started with a post from @DreamChasnMike on X, who said he thought it was possible but "everybody just gotta be dedicated to the shit."

In other words, dudes would have to keep going after watching their compatriots get torn apart.

Luckily, this is just a silly internet argument and nobody actually has to fight a gorilla.
