Adult content site Pornhub knows we're all social distancing,Esther Moser so they've decided to hook everyone up with free Pornhub Premium to make our isolation just a little bit easier.
Starting March 24, users can sign up at the site's special "stay home" landing page to enjoy premium for the next month.
"With nearly one billion people in lockdown across the world because of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important that we lend a hand and provide them with an enjoyable way to pass the time," said said Corey Price, Vice President of Pornhub in a press release. "We hope by expanding our offer of free Pornhub Premium worldwide, people have an extra incentive to stay home and flatten the curve."
Besides doling out free porn, the site is also helping out performers who have been hurt by the economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. For the month of April, Pornhub will offer them 100 percent of their video sales after a processing fee of 15 percent. Their total payout on both Pornhub and the clip site Modelhub will be 85 percent.
Additionally, Pornhub is donating $25,000 to the Sex Workers Outreach Project, contributing directly to relief funds for those impacted by COVID-19.
Pornhub is also helping out those outside the sex work industry. They are donating 15,000 surgical masks for first responders of Local 2507, which represents EMTs and paramedic members of the FDNY; 15,000 surgical masks to the Uniformed Firefighters Association Local 94 of New York City; 20,000 surgical masks to Mount Sinai South Nassau in New York; and €50,000 to various European organizations to purchase additional masks.
"We very much appreciate the offer from Pornhub to donate 20,000 surgical masks to help protect our healthcare workers and patients at Mount Sinai South Nassau during the COVID-19 crisis," said Joe Calderone, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications & Development at Mount Sinai, in a press release. "These masks are mission critical in the fight against the COVID pandemic."
All the more reason to stay inside and flatten the curve.
