If you're spending time social distancing with kids home from school,UK you might have dabbled in a viewing of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderversea few hundred times by now.
Cannot recommend highly enough if not.
There's more than a few families watching the film at home together, according to Peter Parker voice actor Jake Johnson, who has kindly offered up his services during this unprecedented time.
Johnson, who plays the OG Spider-Man in the animated film, posted an offer to Instagram, in which he'll send short voice notes to kids staying home from school in order to to quell the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
"Since the quarantine a lot of parents have DM’d me saying they’ve been watching Spiderverse with their kids. A lot," he wrote. "So, here’s my idea. If your child is home from school and wants a quick encouraging message from Peter B Peter, then send me an email with their name and I’ll try and send over a short voice note. If I don’t get to you, I apologize."
All you have to do is email [email protected] and hopefully Johnson will get to your request.
It's a pretty sweet thing to do in this weird time. Reminds us of the recorded messages Frozenstar Jonathan Groff has done in the past as his character Christoph. What good dudes.
