Borat is Tamil Archivesback...just in time for the U.S. election. Sacha Baron Cohen's wildly popular 2006 character will return for a sequel that finds him once again enmeshed in American culture during the COVID-19 pandemic and leading up to Nov. 3, 2020.

Cohen released the trailer shortly after Amazon Prime was confirmed to distribute the film but with no specific date. The trailer shows Borat returning to the United States to find a husband for his daughter, and quarantining in the meantime with people who believe Democrats are deadlier than coronavirus.
Since Borat, Cohen became ingrained in the cultural lexicon, returning in 2019 for Who Is America? The Showtime comedy featured Cohen wearing various costumes while he met with American politicians and recorded their interviews. More than one U.S. politician felt negatively portrayed in the show (they were themselves) and issued statements after the show aired — a segment with Sarah Palin was cut entirely.
Borat Subsequent Moviefilmwill stream on Amazon Prime Oct. 23.
