In each case, the group left its logo, along with the message, "Hey, it's OurMine we are just testing your security, please contact us for more information," along with a contact email address and a link to the group's website.
As of this writing, the media organization's other social media accounts, such as Twitter and Instagram, appeared to be unaffected.
The action follows a similar incident on Saturday that impacted the online presence of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) group. In that case, WWE had several Twitter accounts taken over by OurMine.
UPDATE:Sunday, Jan. 29, 10:55 p.m. ET: Roughly 30 minutes after CNN's accounts were taken over by the hacking group, Facebook apparently restored control of the accounts to CNN staff, removing the previous messages posted by OurMine.
