With platforms such as Wordpress or Yoo JungTumblr, starting a blog has never been easier, but in most cases, you still have to go through a simple registration process before you can start publishing.
Now, messaging platform Telegram has made it even simpler with Telegraph, the blogging platform that doesn't require any kind of registration.
SEE ALSO: Messaging app Telegram is shaking up Iran's electionsYou just go to Telegra.ph, and start writing. You can type a title, your name, some text, and add a photo or embed content -- tweets and videos, for example -- from the internet. Simple text formatting is also supported, and you can edit your post after your done (VentureBeatnotes that you can only do so if you accept cookies from the site; open the same post from another browser, and you won't be able to edit it).
Of course, when it's this simple, something has to go, and in this case, it's continuity. There's no such thing as your blog here; you just type some content and share it using its URL, but you can't write a new post and expect it to appear above the old one anywhere.
The platform also has some potential for abuse, as anyone can type absolutely anything in the "name" field, potentially tricking people into believing the post has been written by someone else.
Telegram does not appear to see Telegraph as a standalone platform; rather, it's a good way to publish rich content on Telegram, where Telegraph posts look pretty and load fast thanks to another new feature called Instant View.
Similar to Facebook's Instant Articles or Google's AMP, it quickly loads content from some sources, such as Mediumor TechCrunch.
In a blog post announcing the new features, Telegram admitted that "only a handful" of websites are currently supported, but more will be added later.
