Those trendy, sahara, essence of eroticism, players relaxing Himalayan Rock Salt lamps everyone's been buzzing about might not be as safe as you think.
On Tuesday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall on about 80,000 lamps, which are believed to have health benefits and improve your mood, due to potential shock and fire hazard risks.
SEE ALSO: Cat loves lamp more than anyone has ever loved anything beforeThe recall includes three types of Lumière brand rock salt lamps -- the Rock of Gibraltar Lamp, the Carnival of Lights Lamp and the Basket of Rocks Lamp -- that were sold at Michaels craft stores from July 2016 to November 2016.
Though no injuries have been reported yet, the recall states that the lamp's dimmer switch and outlet plug have the potential to overheat and ignite, posing danger to owners.
Those who purchased the lamps during the five-month time period are instructed to check the barcodes and return recalled products to any U.S. Michaels store for a cash refund.
