China’s search engine giant Baidu020 Archiveslooking for more than 3,000 fresh graduates to join sectors ranging from LLM algorithm development and engineering to product operations, in a sign that ERNIE Bot creator’s is continuing to bet on artificial intelligence-driven growth. The job openings are to be filled at Baidu’s headquarters in Beijing, as well as in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, according to the official website, with technical positions being the most in-demand in this round of campus recruitment. The company plans to add 235 new employees for the position titled Machine Learning/Natural Language Processing Engineer, one of its most-in demand roles, saying the position is to develop core technologies for large-scale machine learning applications. Baidu said it is opening up the position of LLM Algorithm Engineer to fresh graduates for the first time, hoping they “can be involved in the development of large-scale pre-trained models, as well as the strategic development of the company’s core products.” [Baidu, in Chinese]
