TikTok this week was an emotional roller coaster. From younger sisters sharing the diabolical things their older sisters to Black men joyfully frolicking through fields.
Younger sisters are inherent eroticism of the seadivulging the hilarious horrors their older sisters put them through growing up. The trend is set to a classical piano cover of "Congratulations" by Mac Miller, performed by @bigzitti. Over 246,000 TikToks have used @bigzitti's cover.
One popular example of the trend is @ldooog's video that reads, "My older sister once told me it was courteous to shit in the backyard so the dog wouldn't feel self conscious. She explained now that I was 8, I was old enough to take over this job for the family. I proceeded to pull down my pants and take a shit in the middle of our lawn in front of both my parents doing yard work." Yikes! Another video posted by @nil.sani says, "My sister would ask if I wanted to play Cinderella. She always let me be Cinderella. I would clean every inch of her room..."
I never had the older sister experience, so I wasn't privy to the psychological warfare older sisters wage. Perhaps check in on the girls with older sisters in your life.
Women are responding to men who harass them on the street by saying, "Sorry I don't have any change," and reporting their experience on TikTok.
SEE ALSO: New online campaign reminds us that street harassment isn't a rite of passage. It's a public health concern. This trend was inspired by @kyleprue's "Things you can say to piss men" series. In the series, Prue aspires to "socialize emotional violence." In his May 8 installment he suggests women say, "Sorry I don't have any change," to men who are harassing them. Later in the video, Prue backs off his suggestion and jokingly says, "I cannot recommend the last one, and that's because of the history of murder." The video received 2.5 million views and over 524,000 likes.
The women who have tried this line out and shared the encounters on TikTok are pleased with the shocked reaction it evokes. "The look on their face! Thank you whoever started this because that is the money shot right there," shared @katycomer in a video that acquired 420,000 views and 72,000 likes.
The most joyful part of TikTok this week is the threads of Black men frolicking through lush, green fields. The trend began with @thexsadxoptimistic's video where he runs through a meadow of yellow flowers in a bright pink tee shirt while exclaiming, "Oh my god! I am frolicking!" His video garnered 2.9 million views and over 730,000 likes.
The joy from @thexsadxoptimistic proved to contagious and inspired other Black men to go on romps of their own. The tag "frolicking" has over 8.8 million views and "black men frolic" has 103,000 views and counting. Black TikTokkers are both posting their own frolicking videos and stitching frolicking videos creating threads where you can watch several larks in the park at once.
This isn't the first time frolicking went viral back in August 2020 @itsMalikEl tweeted about the joys of frolicking and reminded us to get outdoors.

I hope this inspires you to do a little frolicking of your own this weekend.
