Just when we thought we've seen it all,Watch Exotic Forbidden Pleasures Online China's Meizu has announced a smartphone that has a secondary display on the back, meaning you can assume that perfect selfie pose even when you use the rear camera.
The Meizu Pro 7 has appeared in several leaks over the next couple of days, but now it's official. The company announced on Twitter that the device will launch on July 26 and posted a photo of the boxed phone which clearly shows that the secondary display on the back is happening.
SEE ALSO: This Chinese smartphone is almost perfect, except for one thing...The photo doesn't actually show the phone. Instead, it's phone-shaped invite that says the announcement will happen at 6:30 p.m. on July 26.

But when you compare that photo with some of the leaked photos we've seen, it's pretty safe to say that the black shiny surface represents the phone's oddly-shaped, vertical secondary display.

Does this solution make any sense? Frankly, we have no idea: It could be cool, and it could also be a total disaster. But it's definitely something we haven't seen before.
As the recently leaked images show, the rear display will be in full color and you might even be able to play games on it, although we're not sure we can imagine a scenario in which that makes sense.
As for the rest of the specs, the device is rumored to be powered by MediaTek's new Helio X30 chip, and have a 5.2-inch display, a dual 12-megapixel camera on the back as well as a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Yes, that last bit makes the entire concept even more confusing; we're very interested in what, exactly, Meizu will show on July 26.
