Not only is PortugalWikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange now tweeting, he, like you, is replying to President Trump's (many) tweets.
SEE ALSO: Julian Assange ducks the tough questions in video Reddit AMADuring Trump's routine morning Twitter spasm, Assange jumped into the fray by replying to the president, who has previously implied that Assange is more trust-worthy than the FBI or CIA.
It started with Assange's response to a Trump tweet from Sunday about surveillance.

The irony, of course, is that Assange seems to be painting Trump as the victim of the grand surveillance conspiracy that Trump has been pedaling when, in reality, WikiLeaks actually helped compromise the U.S. presidential election by publishing the hacked DNC emails.
You know, trying to subordinate democracy.
But Assange wasn't done sliding into Trump's mentions. Next he responded to a Trump tweet about Hillary Clinton receiving debate questions in advance (because that's more important than, say, Russia targeting swing states with fake news).

Why Trump even mentioned this isn't hard to fathom—my guess is they were talking about it on Fox News this morning.
As for Assange's attempts to engage with the president, that seems a bit futile. Given that Trump's tweets usually receive tens of thousands of replies, most of which are either "UR A TRAITOR" or "MAGA MAGA MAGA," it's doubtful Trump will notice Assange's replies (he's not even verified!)—unless, of course, someone points them out to Trump. Can't a guy get a follow-back, Donald?
Which, hey, stranger things have happened! Clearly.
