The Watch online Fast Lane to Malibu (2000)central pillar of Donald Trump's campaign is that the media is corrupt. Perhaps no reporter has drawn as much targeted rhetoric as NBC's Katy Tur.
He resumed those attacks on Wednesday during a rally in Miami. Trump bragged about the size of the crowds attending his event, then said the media hadn't been reporting on them accurately.
He then, seemingly at random, called out Tur, saying "Katy, you're not reporting it, Katy. There's something happening Katy. There's something happening Katy."

It's not the first time Trump has attacked Tur individually. In December, Trump called her "little Katy" and a "third-rate reporter" during a rally, with many attendees turning around to boo her. On Twitter, she received a death threat.
The fallout was so bad that Tur received Secret Service protection on her way out of the rally.
It looks like the situation on Wednesday was not quite as bad, but that the crowd did respond to Trump's words.

Media security at Trump events has been an issue for months after the Republican candidate for president ramped up his anti-media crusade.
Scenes from Trump rallies now routinely include reporters documenting supporters that drop by the media area to hurl insults.

Beyond Trump going after Tur, reporters also said that security for the media had been compromised at the Miami event.
